Our Mont d’Or cheeses are sourced from France. They are available in several sizes, ranging from 400 g to 3 kg, to suit all your desires and occasions.

 

DLC: 20 to 30 days

For optimal conservation, store your Mont d’Or in the refrigerator at around 2°C. Be sure to keep it in its original spruce box to preserve its aromas and prevent it from drying out. Take it out of the refrigerator an hour before tasting to fully appreciate its texture and flavors.

Mont d’Or, an iconic cheese from the Jura mountains, is a seasonal product available only from September to March. This period corresponds to the end of summer and the beginning of winter, when dairy cows, having grazed in the high-altitude pastures during the summer, descend back into the valleys. The rich and aromatic milk produced during this season is ideal for making Mont d’Or. Traditionally, it is consumed during the cold months, often baked in the oven for a delicious and comforting experience.
